Mission Statement
What began as a personal act of reflection has become something more – a story that we hope speaks to anyone who has ever felt like their story didn’t matter. Or that their pain was too much. Or too little. Or they felt invisible, ashamed, overwhelmed, or broken.
It has become a play that offers a deeply honest look at the things we carry, often in desperate silence. It’s about depression, suicidal ideation, addiction, spiritual disorientation, unfulfilled belonging, and grief. But perhaps most of all, it's about being seen.
We hope this play helps normalize vulnerability. We hope this play helps de-stigmatize mental health struggles. We hope this play invites conversations that are honest, open, and real. And we hope this play – if we’re lucky – reminds just one person that they are not alone.
We are not alone.
With this play, we join the quiet but growing chorus of people who are willing to say:
I’m not alright. And that’s okay. I’m still here.
Here I Am.
